Metric NBR 70 O-Ring Kit (Freely Customizable Mix)
Overview
This kit offers common metric O-rings in any combination of sizes and quantities the customer needs, made of 70 Shore A nitrile rubber (NBR), black, packed in a compartment box. Selectable sizes cover roughly 3–45 mm ID and 1.5–4 mm cross-section, suitable for pneumatic and hydraulic repair, pumps, pipe fittings and general equipment maintenance. NBR resists mineral oils and greases and offers the best value, making this a standard stock item for repair shops, machine builders and industrial distributors.

Metric NBR 70 O-Ring Kit (Freely Customizable Mix) - Material and Size Characteristics
An O-ring's performance depends on its material, hardness and size. Common materials include NBR (oil resistant, economical), FKM (heat and chemical resistant), silicone (wide temperature range, soft) and EPDM (water and steam resistant), usually at 70–90 Shore A. Sizes are marked as ID × cross-section and follow standards such as ISO 3601 and AS568. Always check media, temperature and pressure when selecting.
Material and hardness
General-purpose NBR compound at 70 Shore A, typically ±5 tolerance, suited to everyday repair use.
Size marking
All sizes are marked as "ID × CS (mm)", which should be used when ordering or matching used parts.
Media compatibility
Suitable for mineral oil, grease, hydraulic oil, water and air. Not suitable for brake fluid (glycol type), phosphate-ester hydraulic fluid, ketones or strong acids and alkalis, and not recommended for long-term ozone exposure.
Storage and labeling
Each compartment shows ID and cross-section, and the lid closes securely for workshop and warehouse use.
Metric NBR 70 O-Ring Kit (Freely Customizable Mix) - Applications
Pneumatic and hydraulic repair
Replacement seals for cylinders, solenoid valves, hydraulic fittings and plugs.
Pumps and piping
Static sealing for pumps, filter housings and pipe connections.
General equipment maintenance
Spare seals for machine tool accessories, air compressors and industrial machinery.
Automotive and agricultural repair
Common small seals kept on hand in service garages.
Metric NBR 70 O-Ring Kit (Freely Customizable Mix) - Selection & Ordering
Confirm the size system first
Metric sizes are marked in mm, while inch sizes use AS568 numbers. They cannot be mixed.
Check media and temperature
If the media includes brake fluid or strong solvents, or temperatures exceed 120 °C, choose a different material.
Static or dynamic sealing
This kit is mainly for static and low-speed reciprocating use. For high-speed or frequent motion, send the operating conditions for engineer review.
Custom options
The size mix, box label and private-label packaging can be adjusted with the supplier.
Metric NBR 70 O-Ring Kit (Freely Customizable Mix) - Quality & Delivery
Outgoing inspection
Batch sampling of dimensions and Shore A hardness, with visual checks for flash, bubbles and missing rubber.
Storage advice
Rubber ages, so store in a cool, dark place away from ozone sources and use first-in, first-out.
Packaging protection
Compartment box inside an outer carton to prevent crushing and size mix-ups.
Delivery
Trial orders and bulk orders are supported. MOQ and lead time are confirmed per order.
Suitable for Overseas Procurement
Supports sample orders, small-batch purchases, bulk orders, and OEM projects. Product packaging, labeling, cartoning, and export documentation can be arranged according to customer requirements.
Metric NBR 70 O-Ring Kit (Freely Customizable Mix) - FAQ
Can the size mix be customized?
Yes. Send the list of ID × CS sizes and quantities, and we will confirm with the supplier and quote.
Can I use them for rotary or high-speed dynamic sealing?
Not recommended. This kit is for general repair. High-speed or high-pressure dynamic sealing needs a dedicated selection.
How do I tell metric from inch O-rings?
Metric sizes are given as ID × CS in mm. Inch sizes use AS568 numbers (such as -110) or inch dimensions. This kit is metric.
Can these O-rings be used in brake systems?
Not recommended. Brake fluid is usually glycol-based and incompatible with NBR. Choose EPDM instead.
